During the NPP operation, the increasing dose rate from the primary circuit give rise to collective dose rates to the operating personnel. Therefore, to reduce the radiation burden of the personnel within the NPP operation, the decontamination of individual equipment of the primary circuit is carried out at regular intervals. In most cases, it concerns the application of chemical and electrochemical decontamination procedures; however, our company also routinely uses non-standard technologies by remote controlled vehicles (ROVs).
